New Patients
When you walk into Bayview Chiropractic Clinic, it’s not like any doctor’s office you’ve imagined before. It’s light and bright, with gentle scents coming from our essential oil diffusers. You’ll be warmly greeted by a member of our team, then invited on an office tour so you know where everything is and what we offer.
Below, you can read about the process of becoming a new patient with our chiropractor, Dr. Sandwell.
The First Day
You’ll have a consultation with Dr. Sandwell to determine if this is the right place for you. If not, you’ll get our best recommendation on where to go. If we believe we can help you, we’ll move forward with a comprehensive examination. You may be adjusted on the first visit if appropriate. This visit takes about an hour.
You’ll meet with Dr. Sandwell to have a report of findings. The questions we answer for you include the following:
- Can you help me?
- How long will it take?
- How often do I need to come in?
- What costs are involved?
Your treatment continues on your next visit and any subsequent visits. You’ll also receive some instructions on stretches and exercises that can help you recover, making this appointment a little longer than your follow-ups at 20-40 minutes in total.
We accept direct billing if your plan allows chiropractic. We recommend that you download an app, then upload your receipts directly to your extended health plan. You’ll receive reimbursement just a day later.
